The IMAGE Center/VME Program Services

The Image Center/ VME Program Services provides innovative custom devices to empower people with disabilities to live life more fully. Volunteer engineers (retired and in industry) team up with volunteer physical and occupational therapists to design one-of-a-kind devices, such as bikes & e-bikes, adaptive musical instruments, specialized beds, custom artists equipment, etc.  VME also mentors 100 ME, EE & Bio-med engineering students/year across12 universities, colleges and high schools by providing "real world" projects to change the life of people with disabilities in MD.
