Allegany College of Maryland

Allegany College of Maryland, the communication's college in Allegany County and serving Western Maryland and the surrounding region, was founded in 1961. AMC is accredited by the Middle Sates Commission in Higher Education, and accredited and approved for operation by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. AMC offers 31 two-year certificate programs, and 10 letter of recognition programs.
